Melissa Perez
Administrative Assistant
A dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in the medical field, Melissa Perez has worked in a variety of roles, from Patient Care Technician in dialysis to working with physical therapy and psychiatric nursing. A proud graduate of Nikki Rowe High School (2003) with a CNA certification, Melissa began a rewarding career in healthcare shortly after high school.
Throughout her career, she has worked at several respected institutions, including Doctors Hospital at Renaissance, Harlingen Medical Center, and Rio Grande State Center, gaining extensive experience in rehabilitation, labor and delivery, and med-surg. Her commitment to learning led her to work closely with physical medicine physicians, where she further developed her skills.
In 2008, Melissa started her family, which inspired a shift toward finding balance in her professional and personal life. She transitioned into substitute teaching, allowing her to spend more time with her daughter and family while still contributing to the community.
Now, as a member of Little Miracles Home Health in Human Resources, Melissa is excited to expand her skill set and continue making a positive impact in the lives of others, all while prioritizing family and personal growth.
